  • Config it from IIS 6
    • Access
      • Authentication – Anonymous
      • Connection – All except the list below (added none)
      • Relay – All except the list below (added none)
    • Messages
      • Send copy of Non-Delivery Report to – Clear
      • Badmail
    • Delivery
      • Outbound Security – Anonymous
      • Outbound Connections – TCP port: 25
      • Advanced
        • Masquerade domain – Clear
        • Domain name – Fully qualified
        • Smart host – Another email server (exchange server)
        • Attemp direct delivery before sending to smart host – depends
    • LDAP Routing
    • Security – Make sure the service account has permission to send emails
  • Test
    • > nslookup -type=mx user@mydomain.com
    • > nslookup
      • # server
      • # set query=mx
      • # <type in server name>

Exchange

  • Setup Exchange 2010 Server
    • Server feature – .NET 3.5 SP1
  • Config
    • Exchange Management Console -> Server Configuration – > Hub Transport ->Receive Connections
    • New a receiver (from TFS server)
      • FQDN
      • Add client IP
      • Enable TLS
      • Anonymous users
